Mrs. Voight has been teaching in elementary schools since 2000, and more than half of her experience has been in Catholic schools. She has been teaching at St. Clare since 2015. Katie is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota. She received her teaching license with a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. After teaching in MN as a pre-K-1st grade Spanish, Reading and Math Specialist, she moved to Hawaii to teach 1st grade at St. Joseph Catholic School. Katie has completed her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Reading and Literature. She looks forward with much excitement to another fun year teaching 1st grade at St. Clare!
