As students grow intellectually, socially, and physically throughout their time at St. Clare, they also have the opportunity to grow in receiving the grace of the sacraments. St. Clare students baptized in the Catholic faith can prepare for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation as a part of their religious education curriculum. The religious education teachers lead sacrament preparation in the classrooms throughout the school year. Students who have not been baptized and wishing to receive this sacrament should be in contact with their religion teacher to coordinate the reception of baptism.
The Archdiocese of Denver has the restored order for the reception of the sacraments. After baptism, students receive the sacrament of reconciliation in 2nd grade and then confirmation and first communion in 3rd grade. To learn more about the restored order of the sacraments, click here.
